Scottish duo Clouds aka Calum Macleod and Liam Robertson, followed up their limited edition “An Outrageous Fate Type” on Speedy J’s Electric Deluxe Imprint with a double EP released April 28, 2017 called HTID: Heaven-sent Tekno Impakting Dancefloors, or Hardcore Till I Die.
The LP is Clouds third appearance on Speedy J’s Electric Deluxe during 2016 with the eight-tracker HTID made up of what the label describes as a “nutty set of industrial techno-jungle half-breeds.”
With Tiga championing their first releases, paving the way for a breakthrough year in 2013, a series of club 12″s entitled ‘Tannhauser Acid Works‘, followed alongside a stockpile of dance floor weaponry released on Gary Beck‘s label and Fifth Wall, not forgetting remixes for the likes of Hot Chip, and indie upstarts Blue Hawaii and Suuns.
Most significantly since the release of their album, Ghost Systems Rave, Clouds have only gotten more gnarled and savage.
The double EP will be available through Electric Deluxe’s online store, and Bandcamp on limited vinyl and on digital formats. This special edition includes a 2 x vinyl 12” records plus a 30cm x 30cm sticker sheet with 9 unique clouds stickers designed by David Rudnick.
