Electric Deluxe Readies Clouds Double Pack ‘HTID” Previews Up

main_cloudsScottish duo Clouds aka Calum Macleod and Liam Robertson, follow up their limited edition “An Outrageous Fate Type” on Speedy J’s Electric Deluxe Imprint with a double EP in late December called HTID: Heaven-sent Tekno Impakting Dancefloors, or Hardcore Till I Die.

The forthcoming LP is Clouds third appearance on Speedy J’s Electric Deluxe this year with the forthcoming eight-tracker HTID made up of what the label describes as a “nutty set of industrial techno-jungle half-breeds.”

With Tiga championing their first releases, paving the way for a breakthrough year in 2013,  a series of club 12″s entitled ‘Tannhauser Acid Works‘, followed alongside a stockpile of dance floor weaponry released on Gary Beck‘s label and Fifth Wall, not forgetting  remixes for the likes of Hot Chip, and indie upstarts Blue Hawaii and Suuns.

Most significantly since the release of their album, Ghost Systems Rave, Clouds have only gotten more gnarled and savage.

The double EP will only be available through Electric Deluxe’s online store, on limited vinyl and on digital formats. It lands on Friday, December 30th. Catch Clouds perform at  Electric Deluxe Presents Warehouse Edition on Friday Dec 30 with Speedy J, RØDHÅD, Dax J, Shifted, Ø [Phase], Jeff Rushin , VRIL (who’s playing live) AND the Noodlebar Soundsystem. Speedy J has  visited the venue ahead of the event and explains what you can expect in the video below.
