Heatbeat – Game Over (Original Mix) Mainstage – Released 4th March (reviewed)

Let the games begin! An ironic statement for a track titled “Game Over” but make no mistake, the game’s just getting started in this hot new track by HeatBeat! The young DJ/Producer duo from Buenos Aires, Argentina has made a splash in EDM in just a short couple of years. Their tracks have been part of some of the biggest sets in electronic music including the powerhouses of Armin van Buren, Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, and Markus Schulz. Heatbeat’s latest track “Game Over” is beautiful compilation of trance, dance, and electro. The slow and smooth intro is a very nice contrast to the energetic and upbeat transition throughout the remainder of the song. I also like that this track is not strictly one sub-genre of EDM but a nice combination. It has an awesome bass in the drops but it doesn’t dominate the entire track. The middle of the track is like a pause that slows itself down and goes back to the smooth trance sound. But before the “game is over”, the song builds up to a very pleasing climax and drops even better than the first time! Heatbeat is a very impressive and promising duo and their latest tracks proves how awesome and appropriate their DJ name is! Love this track, love this duo, and can’t wait to hear more!
